This was my first experience trying locally grown organic microgreens . They were hand delivered to me by the local farmers, Jeff and Jenn. They came in a refrigerated case. The clamshell itself was full of beautiful sprigs of tender brocollini. When I got home, I put a couple handfuls of the brocollini in my smoothie to make a green smoothie. I added 2 scoops of organic pea protein powder, 8 oz spring water, a little ice and blended at high speed. It looked delicious and tasted amazing! The brocollini was stored in my refrigerator’s vegetable bin for several days as I ate my way through the microgreens, remaining fresh like day 1. I now have a much easier and tastier way to get in my vital nutrients thanks to discovering Jeff and Jenn’s micro green farm!
